The delay relay is used to switch loads in stages: electric boilers, furnaces, heaters, etc. and thus prevents current surges in the network and tripping of circuit breakers due to large overvoltages.
It can also be used to coordinate the switch-on time of several devices in machines, appliances or other equipment.
